Courtney Kuhagen, Office Manager, since June 2014
Courtney is our office manager here at Advanced Pet Care Clinic. She is a Cedar Falls native, growing up the oldest of five girls and one brother. She lives at her family farmhouse South of Cedar Falls, with her husband Kris, their Husky Collie mix, Mia, and their two cats, Merlin and Lenox. Courtney enjoys interior design, party planning, planting flowers, boating, playing sand volleyball, and spending time with her friends and family.
Kelcey Srp, Receptionist, since Aug 2016
Kelcey grew up in Albert Lea, MN on her family farm. She graduated from North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, IA in May of 2016 and then moved to Cedar Falls. In her free time she enjoys playing sand volleyball, riding motorcycle with her dad, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. Kelcey has two Golden Retrievers, Mercy and Sunni.
Stacy Fitzpatrick, Receptionist, since Nov 2019
Stacy was raised in Waverly and is currently living her husband, Bernie in Cedar Falls. Stacy has two children, Mikaela, 21 and Jaycob, 16. She also has 1 grandson named Kane. Her and her husband adore animals, they have 4 dogs, 4 cats, a parrot, and 2 guinea pigs! When she isn’t enjoying time with her family she enjoys camping and the outdoors.

Leah moved to Cedar Falls in 2016 from LaPorte City, she lives with her husband Tyler and their daughter, Violet. Together they have 3 dogs Gabby, Titan, and Lilly, three cats, Rocket, King, and Bean and a Ball Python named Mac. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, go to concerts and spend time outdoors.
Jamie Hosek, Veterinary Technician, since 2018
Jamie grew up in Southern Minnesota and Western Illinois. After high school she attended Black Hawk College East in Kewanee, Illinois, double majoring in Equine Science and Horse Science Technology. She started working as a Veterinary Technician in small and large animal clinics right after college graduation for several years before deciding to get certified as a Technician at Penn Foster Online College. She moved to Clutier, Iowa after meeting her husband. Along with raising 5 growing boys, her and her husband also raise beef cattle, finisher pigs, rabbits, American Quarter Horses. Their family includes a leopard gecko named Sparrow, 2 dogs named Pixie and Hunter and several cats. When Jamie isn’t cheering her kids on in their various sports, she enjoys reading, crafting, riding her horses, gardening and being outside.
Danielle Baker, Veterinary Assistant, since July 2019
Danielle was born and raised in Waterloo where she also attended Hawkeye Community College for Vet Assisting. When she isn’t working, she enjoys being with friends or binge watching TV. She has 2 dogs, Sadie and Molly and two cats, Baby and Mama.
Caitlin Sanderman, Veterinary Assistant, since Sept 2019
She is a freshman at the University of Northern Iowa, where she is majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She has 5 dogs of her and her family also breeds Labrador Retrievers. She hopes to attend UC-Davis or ISU for vet school.
Morgan Figi, Veterinary Assistant, since June 2020
Morgan is a DNH graduate, she is going to continue her education to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has 2 dogs and 1 mule. During the free time that she has, she enjoys taking her dogs on runs or hikes and riding her mule.

Alicia grew up in Clutier, IA, her and her boyfriend Dustin and his daughter, Kaydin, live in the country and love the farm life. They have 1 horse, 3 goats, 3 cats, and 4 dogs, Tuff, Moose, Forest, and Bear. She attended Hawkeye Community College for Animal Science/Veterinary Assisting in 2016. In her free time, she loves to kayak, fish, hike, bonfires, riding ATV’s & spending time with friends and family.

Samantha graduated with a Veterinary Assisting Degree from Hawkeye Community College in 2006 while working at a local vet clinic. She worked there for three years assisting the veterinarians and as the supervisor of the kennel staff. She then went on to work at Pet Smart in January of 2008. She attended grooming academy in Milwaukee Wisconsin returning to start her new career. She’s been grooming since then, and truly enjoys working with animals. Samantha has lived in the Elk Run / Evansdale area all of her life. She and her husband David, welcomed a daughter in March of 2019. They have 3 dogs (Ellie, Tippy, and Garmora), 2 cats (Sugar and Mavis), and 1 axolotl named Squishy. Their favorite way to spend their time is with their baby. Carrie grew up in Jesup, Iowa. At 19 she moved to Florida and began her work with animals in a pet store finding a passion for all types of animals. Two years later, she moved to Maine and once again worked in a pet store as well as a veterinary clinic. During this time she acquired 4 snakes, several birds, cats, and dogs. She moved back to Iowa in 2005 and in 2006 her son was born. Carrie decided to move back to her hometown and go to Grooming Academy in Chicago. She gained her experience at Pet Smart as a groomer and manager. Carrie has 1 black lab named Tank, two pomeranians named Hawkeye and Roxxie, 3 cockatoo’s named Kiwi, Mango, and Rio and also 2 cats named Maybel and Whiskers. [email protected]
